Ingredients :
°Basic

medium onions finely chopped
°1/2
cup maple syrup
°Salt and pepper to taste
°flour
(for work surface)
*Preparation :
In
a nonstick saucepan, saute onions in maple syrup for 20 minutes or until
caramelized.
Salt
and Pepper.
Let
it cool down.
Lay
the butter paper on the baking tray.
On
a floured work surface, roll puff pastry into a 46 cm by 20 cm (18 by 8 inch)
rectangle.
Spread
the onion mixture on one half of the surface, then fold the other half of the
dough over the onions. Cut into slices and roll them up.
Place
the twists on a baking tray and leave them in the freezer for about an hour, or
until the dough is semi-frozen.
Preheat
the oven to 200°C (400°F), and place it in the middle.
Bake
for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Feet
warm or cold.
